Straubolin produced mainly copies of Elastolin figures, but only very few figures of its own. The fur structure scratched into the figures, they were mostly painted with an orange brown color and they look a bit basic. Some of the figures are marked "Switzerland" and sometimes you find at the bottom of civilian figures the mark "Straubolin Switzerland".

Very nicely illustrated. For those of us in the United States who are not familiar with Straubolin figures and animals, perhaps you could do a followup article with illustrations of Elastolin copies.
